How this is built
Observed flood spots — where flooding was detected by Sentinel-1 radar (2019–2024 monsoons) or recorded in 37 years of satellite imagery. Locations are GPS-snapped to the nearest road.
Flood-risk zones — areas modelled to flood during heavy rain based on drainage capacity and land slope.
Highest-risk hotspots — spots where observed flooding and model risk overlap. Most likely to flood again.
Low-lying terrain traps — natural hollows from elevation data. Water collects here even without blocked drains.
